The Fly Agaric (Amanita Muscaria)

A cluster of these mushrooms appear every year under a group of Birch trees at the gate. They are the original red Toadstool and beloved by the local deer, squirrels and rabbits. I had to cover some of the emerging fungi with plant pots pegged down with tent pegs in order to save some for mysel to print.

The Fly Agaric (Amanita Muscaria) is a hallucinogenic mushroom andI've written about it here

This print is made using a wild mushroom picked sustainably in the garden. The frame (purchased) is 33cm high x 33cm length x 3.5cm deep which can be hung or stand. I used grey card and a grey frame with Glass.
