Fish Tail - Sold

This painting was created using some False Death Cap mushrooms (Amanita Citrina) which grew amongst the leaf litter under some beech trees behind the house.
As the name suggests, these beautiful mushrooms are cousins of the deadly Death Cap (Amanita Phalloides) but these are not harmful.

They have a very delicate lemon colour and were growing gregariously along the woodland floor.
