The Wood Blewits

I have a troop of Wood Blewits growing in the front lawn and beside one of the compost heaps. They are very plentiful and huge this year. I added a rather late Fly Agaric and some Bonnets to complete this design. The Wood Blewits are a fantastic shade of purple and are edible but need to be well cooked. The have a lovely earthy flavour.



This artwork was made using wild mushrooms picked sustainably from my Irish garden. The standard frame (purchcased) is 50 x 70 x4 cm which can be hung. I used a plum board in a cream coloured frame. (The board colour is distorted here for some reason).

All my work is mounted, framed, sealed and ready to hang.
